Desperate Working Mommas
Your one-stop site for fanatical television snarking, questionable political analysis, occasional attempts to address the parenting issues facing working mothers, and halfhearted promises to stop obsessing about the entertainment industry, already! Oh, not to mention the random bitching and moaning. There's always that.

My eyes! They BURN...

Okay. I have officially STOPPED feeling any kind of sympathy for Cindy Sheehan. I have! So sue me! I don't care! The Grief Pimping has evolved into full-fledged Media Whoring.

Someone's gotta say it. May as well be me.

And good LORD I hope they arrested the topless women with GINORMOUS knockers who were protesting outside the White House because DAMN sistahs! BRAS are your FRIEND! BOOOOOOOOOOOBS. It's like the National Geographic out there!

Um, that is all. For now.

Cameron? First, welcome! Second, your comment TOTALLY reminds me of the time my grandpa walked in when my family and I were watching The Shining (scared the BEJEEBIES outta me!) and it was the bathroom scene, you know, with the beautiful naked woman? And he plops right down on the couch next to me and says, "Oooooh! Okay! What are we watching here?" and then she CHANGES-- oh! the horror!-- and he's all, "Oh my GOD! What are you WATCHING?!!!" and man! you should have seen that man scurry out of our house, without ever telling us why he came over in the first place!

Yep. Totally. In my defense, I DID say "It's like the National Geographic out there!"

Do you have a front row seat for that? I think you should start a politcial blog, dont do it here because I enjoy spontaneous karaeoke night and whatnot. But do a separate one because I think, for real, that it would be damn funny. Like John Stewart.

Really, I WANT to be on their side, I generally am totally behind war protesters. And mothers who have lost children in this war have every right to be pissed, on top of thier grief.

But If I was nine, and my mom made me lay on a peace flag while she stood over me with pendulous breasts exposed...yeah, I would be traumatized for life. That girl is going to need some THERAPY.

My biggest problem with that is WHY SUBJECT YOUR NINE YEAR OLD TO YOUR INSANITY? Your NUDE insanity at that? As the mother of a 9 year old, I could NEVER conceive dragging my child to an anti-war protest where I am flashing my breasts. Maybe I'm too Southern or something, but that just ain't right.
