Yeah! Snaking!!! Snaking was responsible for my popularity in seventh grade. I moved from San Diego to Washington State and taught the kids at my first school dance how to snake before it had made it up to Washington. Yeah! Thanks for bringing it back Cat! You look totally hot busting those moves!!! Next, could you do the cabbage patch? Not because I don't know how to do it, but because I think it would make a great tutorial! :-)

You have balls of steel, woman. Balls of steel. I totally had it wrong. I thought the snaking was with both hands up in the air, out to the side, and then a little ripple action.

That giggle behind the camera? That's love, baby.

Okay, so, what William said?

Yeah, that. Me too.

Oh, and what kalki said.

And nessa, too.

P.S. Oh MY. My word verification is (I am SO not kidding) retar. I am absolutely certain that is NOT a commentary on your snakin' prowess.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Cat- This explains so much to me. I recently recovered from my illness to find Charlotte wriggling around in front of a mirror with bad 90's music blaring from the stereo. I get it now. Nice moves-- or as I would say in seventh grade- smooth move Ex-Lax.

What Kalki said, and the coolest mom ever!

Do your kids have any idea of what a great mom they have? I'm sure they do, you live with them!

This post actually shows me what my oldest (Brennen) means when he says I lost my sense of humor since starting school. I need to get that back- thanks for the insperation!

You know, the irony of the song choice is probably my favorite part, even though it was a tad too fast for genuine Snaking. Well, that and the Snaking camera man (hence the shaky shot!) and the giggling daughter (who was-- yes-- also snaking, off-camera).

They have yet to master the Axl Rose. Pity...

Dude. These kids are SO DOOMED.

Cat, I kid you not, Elli is "Axel Rose'n" right now. (As best as a two year old can.) It's to twinkle twinkle little star mind you. She watched your tutorial a couple times yesterday and it must have stuck!
