Desperate Working Mommas
Your one-stop site for fanatical television snarking, questionable political analysis, occasional attempts to address the parenting issues facing working mothers, and halfhearted promises to stop obsessing about the entertainment industry, already! Oh, not to mention the random bitching and moaning. There's always that.

"No more pencils! No more books! No more teachers' dirty looks!"

Last day of school and the kids are Out of Control... Papers! Books! Report cards! Journals! Random drawings! Broken crayons! EVERYWHERE!

And there are suitcases! Froggy goggles and damp swimsuits! Clean clothes! Thrown about, I tell you! All willy-nilly-like! It's Madness!

Wow. I must say, the Guilt/Excitement/Guilty Excitement about shipping the kids off to the grandparents in Arizona for the WHOLE SUMMER? Totally kicking in.

Is my heart supposed to beat this fast? I don't think it is supposed to beat this fast. Maybe I'm dying. I'm probably totally dying, right?

Two. Whole. Months.

Whatever will I do with myself?
Whatever will I do without them?

Oh wow thats going to be a tough time. At least you'll get some relaxing in. Don't feel guilty I wish my parents would have shipped me off for summers... not because I didn't like summers at home but because summers elsewhere would have been fun.. :D

I know, right?! The kids are SOOOO excited, too, which helps. Where they are going in AZ was, after all, their home (their entire lives!) up until one year ago...
Still... guilt.

I am going to miss those kids so much!

But what with the clubbin' and shoppin' and Chevy's-in' and whatnot, you'll stay busy. ;)

I KNOW, RIGHT?!

Kristine and Kalki, y'all may be on to somethin'...

My little duffers probably won't want to come home, what with all the spoiling that will be going on this summer! Hawaiian ice stands, swimming, bike riding, camping, four-wheeling, et cetera, et cetera, ad infinitum...

Wow, how great of your parents to take on three kids for two months! Even if they are your little cuties, that's a big job. I hope you'll find lots of things to fill your summer. Why'd you move anyway?

Wow. Good call, Kalki! Seriously impressive! I'm a little scared, really... Total Recall, much? (Doo doo DOO doo!) Heh. Luv ya! Mwah!

And thanks, Bente. (The Crazy, it was strong, that day...)

:) But I don't regret the move. Not one little bit.

Two whole months without them?!

Whoa. I'd be so excited, but feeling guilty and worried and overprotective and worried and lonesome for them already.

But that's just me. :)

Awww! You poor thing! It will be FABULOUS for you, but hard, too. At least there's the phone. We're going to Arizona in August - want me to pick 'em up and stuff them in my suitcase??

It took me a couple of days to leave a comment. Had to cleanse my system of jealous remarks.

Now I am happy for you. Yeah, you'll miss em. But how great for you and your hubby to have two months to be 'mantic?
