Desperate Working Mommas
Your one-stop site for fanatical television snarking, questionable political analysis, occasional attempts to address the parenting issues facing working mothers, and halfhearted promises to stop obsessing about the entertainment industry, already! Oh, not to mention the random bitching and moaning. There's always that.

I am a Rock. I am an Island.

I was talking to my youngest daughter the other night, and I was all, "Oh, I miss you guys so much! Every time I walk by your room I feel sad! Blahdy blah blah! Do you miss us?"

Silence.

"Alli?"

"What? I was watching TV."

So... no. Not so much.

Oh no!

I remember when Punkin was our only little clown and she was not quite two years old. We went to Vegas for a conference/vacation, and I fretted and cried when we left and thought about her soooo much and every time we called home, she wanted to talk TO DADDY.

I'm sure they miss you and TGYM, too, just not right at that second. :)

OMG!

Kara called me the other night and she just kept going ON AN ON about how much fun she was having.

I said, "Shit, I should have gone to Alcatraz without you."

she just said, 'yeah. that would have been fun for you guys. Gramma bought me shoes."'

I didn't get shoes when I went over there!!

Oh and Kara is addicted to Veronica Mars and she said, 'It's your Cat's fault." I just laughed.

You're my cat.

Was she at least watching something good? Because if she dissed you for "Dancing with the Stars," you have a problem.

I think we worry about them way more than they think we ought to. I'm sure they are having a great time, and I think you may be a little jealous!!!!=) On a side note, here in our beutiful city of San Diego, there was a little snippet on the news about that string-eyebrow-shapey-thing. They said it was all good! I saw how it was done and it was very curious looking. I think I'll stick to the wax!
