And JUST when we had a cool nickname for him and e'rything!

Aaaw, Gayce...

Honestly, people. Did Felicity teach us nothing? I told you. Never mess with The Hair.

That is all.

The very best thing about this post is that I don't even have to watch AI to know what happened. ;)

Have a great day, Cat!

I really thought Ace would stay one more week but you are right, "Never mess with the hair."
His attitude was getting a little uppittidy too, I might add. (Ace just in case you're reading this: Nilbo is the one who made up the nickname "Gayce", I did laugh, sorry, but it was funny)

I'm not loving the artists that they feature every week, I have to say. WTF??!! Next week is gonna blow chunks worse than this week. BORING!! That song by Rod was painful and I like him! So next week is opera?? I'm not familiar with the guy, I can't even remember his name, a very obscure genre, in my opinion. What next? Songs by Big Bird? Oh well. I can't wait to see Pickler singing this one. "Little Miss Fakesalot" has won me over too. She's so damn cute, I can't help it. Now Paris, that girl is on my last nerve. If she says "Thank you" in that baby girl voice one more time,,,, I'm gonna go postal.

Goodbye Ace, you shoulda sang more songs with the word "Naked" in them.

Oh, Dashababy. You know I adore you, but I'm gonna have to smack your ass a bit (not that you'd object).

I'm a big fan of opera (check out our buddy Kelle's site http://whfropera.blogspot.com/ ). It's not really an "obscure genre", having lasted, you know, like 600 or so years compared to oh, fifty or so for rock n roll. And Andrea Bocelli is an opera God, playing stadiums around the world. So, you know, not so much a nobody.

Fortunately for all of us, they won't have to sing opera. The only one in the group with the chops for opera is Kat - the rest would just embarrass themselves and make our ears bleed.

It's going to be "classic love songs", so we can loosely translate that as "saccharine, manipulative ballads that will have every contestant making puppy dog eyes into the camera till we want to go up to our TV screens, go "nyuk-nyuk-nyuk", and give them the Three Stooges split-fingered eye poke".

Our only saving grace? We won't have Gayce and his "this eye shit I'm shooting at you will distract you from my lack of talent" crap that he learned so well from a certain C ontestant last season ...

Hmm... from what I read of his comments, it's not hard to get a rise out of Nilbo. If you know what I mean. And I think you do.

Oh, I think we all do, Charlotte. And we all agree. And therein lies my charm ... for once, a man of NO mystery.
