Desperate Working Mommas
Your one-stop site for fanatical television snarking, questionable political analysis, occasional attempts to address the parenting issues facing working mothers, and halfhearted promises to stop obsessing about the entertainment industry, already! Oh, not to mention the random bitching and moaning. There's always that.

Well, that's just GREAT.

Have been sucked into nostalgic orgy on classmates.com... Can't seem to find way out... Must compose and send rambling, incoherent emails to old friends... Pictures! Bios! Q & A's!

It's madness! Damn the free, 7-day trial package! I can't! stop! looking!

Uh, send help, mm'kay?

ETA: O! M! G! Okay, seriously... I just sent an old boyfriend an email that said (in part), and I quote, "You were my first kiss. (Thanks!) You knew that, right? Just thought I'd share. :)"

"(Thanks!)"?!!

Okay... THAT IS OUT THERE! SOMEWHERE! BEING READ! BY THIS GUY!

Honestly. Somebody STOP me.

Hey, anyone we actually liked in high school? Four more years isn't that far away. Say you'll go with me so we can mock people together.

Dude, we are SO there. And we will film a mockumentary commemorating our triumphant return to the hallowed halls of PHS!

Go Badgers! Rawr!

Hee. Hi, Di!

Darlin, I can't help you. I've been sucked into the vortex that is Classmates.com in the past. I've since broken free, and am loathe to go back.

I couldn't wait to get out of high school, but that's me. The best years of my life, my ass. I still have my high school jacket, though.

Heh, speaking of high school: A new guy just started here today. I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH HIM. Gah. We didn't travel in the same circles, and when I mentioned it, he didn't remember me -- not that he would. I was one of the "invisible people." New co-worker and I made a pact not to post each other's high school photos on the intranet. :)

Go Mustangs! :)

CK: Nuh-freaking-uh?! Wait. Do you live in the same town you in which you attended high school? Making this not-so-amazingly-coincidental-and-freaky?

And I think that is a vuuuurrry sensible pact. Go Mustangs, indeed.

Oooooh, this reminds me of a story! Oh, ho ho!

Girlfriend, you are GOOD! Yes it was, and yes I did! Hey! Wait a sec... You kissed him, too, you little hootchie! Heh. Awesome.

Check your email...

We did film a little from the last reunion. Do you still have it?

If Scott writes you back tell him "Hi" from me. Is he in Colorado some where?

That doesn't surprise me about Kristine. There are so many people who moved back there and/or married other people from high school. I think she and Tim only lasted about a year.

What about Mike, Chad and those guys?

Sorry other people, don't mean to be exclusive

Yes I did! And I liked it! But you kissed him first!
Cheetoes anyone?

Hee. Seriously. I swore off french-kissing for, like, a YEAR after that! You must have taught him how to do it RIGHT, eh?

Boy was HAWT, though. I should have powered through...

Gawd, don't even get me started on the french-kissing thing... my first FK experience was, um, breathtaking -- and not in a good way, either. Eww.

my first french kiss was PERFECT...ohhhh so dreamy.

The second one SUCKED MY FACE OFF.

Mine was more of a "Hey! I just ate some Cheetos, but what the hell! I will go right ahead and stick my tongue down your throat anyway, mm'kay? Ready, GO!" situation. I cannot stress enough how cute the dude was. But that? Was NOT tasty.

Shaun, where are you?! We need a man's perspective on the "first kiss" experience!

I have a classmates.com story. I signed up, the freebie, some time ago. I check it from time to time to see if anyone I'd like to contact is on there. So far, the only ones I'd like to contact, I already have their emails, etc. But last week, I get an email from them saying that someone has been looking for me. Well, I'm intrigued. So I pay the $36 or whatever it was, for the deluxe membership. You know who the phuck was looking for me? MY SELF. I have gone to classmates.com to FIND MYSELF, apparently. And it's going to cost me $36 to do it. I complained violently, but they kept like $5 for their trouble. Scammers!
